STOPTHEFT PROTECTION
STOPTHEFT is a state of the art, electronic identification system containing a uniquely coded microchip, used to identify and protect high value items, ranging from parts of Formula 1 cars, to Koi Carp and motorbikes. To show that your bike is tagged and thereby warn off a potential thief, a special decal will be supplied for you to fit to the frame. The decal is very difficult to remove and if it is tampered with it's extremely obvious. If your bike is stolen and recovered by the Police, they will see from the decal that it is fitted with an electronic STOPTHEFT transponder.

More than 3600 scanners capable of reading STOPTHEFT tags are in daily Police use in the UK and Ireland. Once the bike¹s unique number has been identified, a quick call to the National Database will identify you as the owner. This has two main benefits. One, you get your bike back and two, a prosecution can be made. (In many cases stolen goods are returned to the thief because ownership cannot be proven.) The ease with which ownership can be proved and prosecutions made, would make your STOPTHEFT protected bike extremely unattractive to a potential thief. And, should you ever wish to sell your bike on, the ownership records can be amended for a small fee.

OWNERS CARD
Resembling a credit card, this is a useful reference item as it contains every relevant piece of information relating to your bike. Also, when you come to re-selling or part exchanging your bike you can prove ownership. The card will be sent to you by return, along with your STOPTHEFT Kit.
